Workers and administrators of Goshen Finance institution have visited 19 poor families of the 1994 genocide against Tutsi survivors in Bugesera District.

According to the director of the administrative council in Goshen Finance Dr. Phodidas Ndamyumugabe, aid is always given but the objective is to promote those who were devastated the 1994 genocide against Tutsi.
"This will not only help them survive on the support but also enable them to get some loans for further social-economic development" he assured.
"we want them to get over the level of being supported and stand up And get loans, pay it back and buy what they need and support their fellows instead towards development" he added.
The District Administration in cooperation with FARG supported those 19 families to access accommodation in Mutobotobo village settlement, Murama cell in Nyamata sector in 2011 following a long established special friendship with Goshen Finance which.
Some of those who were supported are trading, others are in farming and have harvested cassava and others are in animal husbandry and these have helped them to promote themselves and they are hoping for a better future as one of them Mukankuranga said.
"We will develop ourselves and expanding what we do depending on the support we get and then get acquiring loans of which we will pay back as Goshen Finance is supporting us we will get far." She promised.
In the 2011, these families were given the basic support where everyone was given Rwf50.000 and for the 2nd time, they were given Rwf900.000 that will be put on their accounts to do small scale projects.
