On July 10th 2012, members of Rwanda Network of people living with HIV elected a new committee that replaced the existing one.
The aim of the new committee is to sensitise members of the network to form cooperatives and get help and advice.
Emmanuel Rusine, who spearheaded electoral commission in electing new committees asserted : «Work together, i twill help you get financial support and other donations you need at once. »
Rwanda Network of people living with HIV and Aids authorities ask HIV infected people not to isolate themselves but instead initiate cooperatives and work for survival.
Consolee Mutoni, Head of the new HIV positive individuals commiitee in Nyagatare district, who replaced Alphonsine Rwagatwa stresses she will help HIV positive feel good about themselves and offert them advise.
There are 42 of cooperatives of people living with HIV/AIDS.
