Some second names we name our children help the bearers excel in life especially in exams, research has revealed.
However, most people name their children depending on how well the name sounds or pronounced or after an important person in government or in the family.
Baptiste Coulmont, professor in sociology reveals that there are some names that help their bearers to achieve their goals while others bring no luck.
This was found out after a research on 34.000 names of the students in 2012.

From the findings, 25percent of the students that share names Madeleine, Irene, and Ariane this year 2012 performed well academically.
Also, one person out of 5 students with names Marie-Anne, Anne-Claire and Gaspard names passed exams well.
15percent of Violette, Apolline, Iris, Beatrice, Judith, Domitille, Hortense, Fleur, Daphne, Noe, Lara, Henri, Adele, Rose, Augustin, Astrid and Eleonore name bearers passed.
Out of 125 people with Youssef and Nabil names, 105 of them did not pass the exams.
Although the above names do not bear luck in them, other 4 people with Mohammed name passed exams out of 400 Mohammeds.
Baptiste Coulmont says that some names bring no luck while others make the bearers live in conflicts in their societies.
To him, parents should be careful before naming their children because one becomes his or her name. They should call them (children) successful people or students who excel academically.
