In a way of sensitizing people about HIV/AIDS prevention through the use of condoms, the health workers at Musambira health workers decided to put condoms in all trading centers so that whoever wants them gets them very near and for free.
This was done in Gaperi trading center in Buhoro cell in Musambira sector where they attached a cartoon of condoms to the tree with a post saying "condoms for free".
This was done in the beginning of July when they started this program of distributing condoms to all people and they put 50 condoms in those boxes but in 3 days they were over.
This however caused confusion to whether people took them urgently or if one person took them all at a go as one Esperance Mutumwinka a health worker in Buhoro cell explained.
Mutumwinka said that the youth in this center are criticizing them saying if there is no condoms available, they should take off the post and the box. They are waiting for more condoms from the health centers but now they will give them to traders to distribute for free.
