The services that Kayonza youth center expect to provide will be delayed due to lack of enough funds to buy necessary equipments for the center, a process that would be crucial for the whole project but the District Authority claims it needs at least Rwf60million; it has been learned.
Up to today the district have nowhere to get this money from as the executive secretary of Kayonza district said during the general meeting of advisory council held towards the end of June 2012.
The district administration said that there was no money prepared for this youth center in the district budget for the economic year 2012-2013 so as to complete this center and they instead everyone who can inform them of a potential partner or sponsors to inform them.
Apart from this youth center helping many of Kayonza youth who have been lonely in terms of sports and entertainment, this center will be used as a school for different things like reproduction health and job creativity.
Many of the youth in Kayonza district said that they expect a lot from this center and it will be a way to make youth of Kayonza district get in touch with other youth from everywhere in the country through sports and concerts that will be held in this center.
