According to the executive secretary, Emmanuel Mugisha Media is a link between the people and their government.
The statement made recently when workers of National Media Council and journalists visited the orphans of the 1994 genocide against Tutsi in Rulindo district.
He added that orphans meet with a hard life and many problems and they have to be visited, supported and be given hope for the future.
Journalists should visit such people so as to see for themselves the problems they pass through so as to advocate for them when they know exactly what they are passing through.
These journalists who visited these orphans supported them with about 1Million francs and this one of the many actions they had planned to do while commemorating journalists who were killed in the 1994 genocide against Tutsi.
