The performing contracts evaluating team in Ngororero has advised the district officials to commit to performing contracts and projects they are sure to fulfill in the year they vowed to fulfill them, a statement given on 09th July2012.
This team which was made up of representatives from the Prime Minister, from the Ministry of Local Governments, partners and workers of the western province of Rwanda advised about this after some performing contracts could not fulfilled when they vowed to it well knowing that they cannot complete them in the last economic year.
Such problems were mainly found in agriculture sector where the maize and wheat produce which was not as expected as even some are not yet harvested yet those in charge say they achieved it 100 percent without getting the produce but by just counting the hectares of land that were farmed.
The district officials were warned about government projects done by enterpre4nuers which are not finished saying it will be easy to complete them or little. Such things make people lose trust in the district because it promises what it cannot fulfill as Jean d'Amour Gatera the coordinator of this evaluating team said.
These advices were appreciated by the mayor of Ngororero district and promised to put them in consideration in the following performance contracts.
