Rwanda : Education ministry sets aside Rwf. 70m for FEASSA games Jul 17th 2012, 06:13 The Ministry of Education (Mineduc) has set aside Rwf. 70 million to cater for participation and preparation costs of Rwanda's delegation to the East African post-primary games due in Burundi from August 26 to September 02. Rwanda's delegation to this year's edition of regional post-primary games will be composed of 19 teams to compete in six sports categories namely; football, basketball, volleyball, netball, handball, athletics and rugby respectively. The Ministry of Education's official in charge of sports, Paterne Rwigema confirmed that the ministry will spend 70 million on preparing the national team as well as participations costs. Rwanda will be represented by G.S Remera-Rukoma and Solidarity Academy (girls' football), APE Rugunga and ESEG Gisenyi (boys' football), G.S Indangaburezi (volleyball girls), G.S.O.B and Lycee de Nyanza (volleyball boys), St. Joseph Kabgayi (basketball girls), ETENI Gisenyi and lycee de Kigali (basketball boys).
