Rwanda : Challengers edge closer to finals Jul 19th 2012, 08:18 Zaafran/Okapi T20 Right Guards 117/10 KCC 97/10 Right Guards won by 20 runs Challengers 167/6 Impala Titans 141/5 Challengers won by 26 runs Challengers edged closer to the finals following a 26-run victory over Impala Titans at Kicukiro cricket ground in the Zaafran/Okapi T20. After winning the toss, Challengers set Titans a daunting score of 167 after impressive knocks from Praveen Kumar (49) and Subashish Samaly (41). Titans needed to score at eight runs an over and despite a slow start, seemed to be cruising following a fantastic knock from Don de Dieu Mugisha (87 off 45 balls). Both sides meet again in Sunday's Zaafran/Okapi T20 semi-final. Right Guards also registered their fourth victory after a 20-run over Kigali Cricket Club. Guards showed their bowling prowess by ably defending what looked like a meager score of 117.
